Opening Hours

Changing the working hours temporarily

Closed for a public holiday, or opening later than usual just for one day? You don't need to touch your regular schedule — Special Days let you override your normal hours for a specific date, then automatically go back to normal afterwards.

  1. Click Manage in the sidebar.
  2. Click Locations.
  3. Click the pencil icon next to the location you're updating.
  4. Click Settings, then the Special Days tab.
  5. Click + Add Special Day.
  6. Fill in the fields below.
  7. Click Save.

Label — A note for yourself, e.g. "Christmas Day."
Schedule Type — Which schedule this override affects: Opening, Delivery, and/or Pick-up.
Override TypeFixed for a single date, or Period for a date range.
Date — The day (or start/end dates) this override applies to.
Start Time / End Time — The hours you'll be open on this day, if applicable.
Status — Choose Open to stay open at a time you're normally closed, or Close to shut for the day.

Tip: Need to close right now, for the rest of today? Click Quick Close instead of adding a Special Day — it's a one-click shortcut.

Note: Special Days only affect the date(s) you set — your regular weekly schedule takes back over automatically once the override ends.
