Static pages

Static pages are simple, one-off pages on your website that don't change often - like an About Us, FAQ, or Terms and Conditions page.

  1. Click Design in the sidebar.
  2. Click Static Pages.
  3. Click New.

Title - The page name, shown at the top of the page and in your browser tab.
Permalink Slug - The web address for this page (for example, about-us becomes yoursite.com/about-us).

Write your content in the editor below - you can format text, add links, insert images, and build tables just like a word processor.

  1. Click the Manage tab to set a Layout and turn the page Disabled/Enabled with the Status toggle.
  2. Click Save.

Tip: Leave the Permalink Slug blank and TastyIgniter will generate one from your Title automatically.

Note: Turning a page's Status to disabled removes it from your website immediately, but keeps the content saved so you can turn it back on later.

To edit an existing page, click its pencil icon from the Static Pages list. Click the eye icon to preview how it looks on your website.
