Guest blogging guidelines

Hello there! Thanks for wanting to write for us — we're glad you're here.

Give this whole page a read before you pitch or submit — it covers exactly what we're looking for and how to send it our way.

We genuinely appreciate every idea that comes in, though the volume we receive means we can't respond to all of them.

  • Length: Aim for 1,000–1,500 words. Anything longer should include a table of contents at the top.
  • Structure: Break it up — headings, subheadings, bullets, and other visual cues make posts much easier to read.
  • Originality: All guest posts must be original. We don't accept duplicate or syndicated content, so if it's been published elsewhere, we can't run it here.
  • Cite your sources: Name the sources behind any facts or stats, and link to them — it builds trust with readers.
  • Tone: Write conversationally, with a sense of humor where it fits. Keep it accessible to a 13-year-old reading level.
  • Take a stance: If you disagree with the conventional wisdom on a topic, say so — and back it up with facts, data, diagrams, or references.
  • Images: Include at least one picture per post, with a source (if needed), alt text, and a caption. Diagrams, infographics, and charts are welcome too.
  • Statistics: Add data wherever it strengthens your point.
  • Outbound links: Link out where it adds value — just make sure the destination has a domain authority of at least 50, and skip anything spammy or "black hat."
  • Lists and bullets: Readers skim before they commit — bullets make it easy for them to find the good stuff.
  • Takeaways: Wrap up with a bulleted recap of the key points.

TastyIgniter retains full editorial control and may tweak submissions as needed — trimming self-promotion, optimizing for SEO, fixing grammar, and fact-checking along the way.
