Marketplace terms

The TastyIgniter Marketplace is operated by Igniter Labs Ltd ('we', 'us', 'our'), a limited company trading as TastyIgniter, registered in England and Wales under company number 10203662, with its registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ.

These Marketplace Terms supplement our Terms and conditions, Marketplace license, and Privacy policy. By using the Marketplace, you agree to these terms in addition to those documents.

1. Welcome

   The TastyIgniter Marketplace is a platform where authors make extensions and themes available for buyers to license. Authors and buyers transact through the Marketplace; we provide the platform and related services.

   Buying an item means purchasing a license to use it — not ownership of the item itself. Ownership remains with the author.

2. Using the marketplace

   You must be 18 or older to purchase paid items, or use the Marketplace under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

   Items on the Marketplace are owned by their authors, not by us. We review items before publication but do not guarantee that every item will meet your requirements.

   Payments are processed by third-party providers such as Stripe and PayPal. Their terms apply to payment processing in addition to these Marketplace Terms.

3. Buying items

   When you buy a Marketplace item, you agree that:

   • you receive a non-exclusive license under the applicable Marketplace license;
   • you are responsible for choosing the correct license for your intended use;
   • you should download and keep a copy of the item after purchase;
   • the author retains ownership and may license the same item to other buyers; and
   • your license is directly with the author, subject to these terms and the Marketplace license.

   Refunds are handled in accordance with the refunds section of our Terms and conditions. Contact the author first if you need help with an item.

4. Intellectual property

   Authors retain all ownership rights in their items. Your purchase grants only the license rights set out in the applicable Marketplace license.

   You must not remove copyright notices, redistribute items outside the scope of your license, or use items in a way that infringes the author's or a third party's rights.

5. Our use of your information

   We collect and use personal data in connection with Marketplace purchases as described in our Privacy policy.

   We may share limited purchase information with authors where needed to deliver items, provide support, or resolve disputes.

6. Conduct

   You must not:

   • share, resell, or publicly distribute purchased items except as permitted by your license;
   • attempt to scrape, bulk download, or reverse engineer Marketplace items or systems;
   • misrepresent your identity or use another person's account without permission;
   • upload or post unlawful, misleading, or infringing content; or
   • interfere with the operation or security of the Marketplace.

   We may suspend or terminate Marketplace access if you breach these terms or our Terms and conditions.

7. Liability and indemnity

   We provide the Marketplace platform but are not responsible for the content, quality, or performance of individual items. Authors are responsible for their items and the warranties they give to buyers.

   Our liability is subject to the limitations set out in our Terms and conditions.

   You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the Marketplace or breach of your license.

8. Technical support

   For help with a purchased item, contact the author first using the support details on the item page. Authors are expected to provide reasonable support for their items.

   If you cannot resolve an issue with the author, contact our Support team. Refund eligibility is described in our Terms and conditions.
