Square POS for TastyIgniter

Introduction

The Square POS for TastyIgniter extension keeps your TastyIgniter menus, stock, and online orders in step with a Square account. Choose whether TastyIgniter or Square is the system of record, then let the scheduler push or pull changes.

Features

• Square connection: Connect and disconnect from the settings page. Use the Square sandbox while testing, and production on a live site.
• System of record: Square overwrites TastyIgniter menu items, or TastyIgniter updates the Square catalog.
• Catalog sync: Categories, modifiers, and menu items sync on a schedule. Import creates missing Square items in TastyIgniter. Export sends your TastyIgniter catalog to Square.
• Per-item sync: Turn Square sync on or off for a menu item, match it by SKU, and override how that item’s stock is handled.
• Inventory: Pull Square counts on a schedule. Counts are sent back to Square when TastyIgniter is the stock authority for that item.
• Order fulfillment: Online orders are sent to Square as pickup or delivery. Completing or canceling the fulfillment in Square updates the TastyIgniter order status.
• Sync history: Each run records notes, and a failure email is sent when you set a notification address.
