DocketPrint

Introduction

The TastyIgniter DocketPrint extension sends thermal receipt dockets to your kitchen or counter printers when orders are placed or reach selected statuses. Printing is delivered through the DocketPrint Helper desktop app, which supports USB/local printers, Epson network printers, and other ESC/POS network devices.

Features

• Automatic printing: Queue receipt dockets when new orders arrive or when order statuses change.
• DocketPrint Helper: Desktop tray app that polls your site and prints on a computer connected to your printer(s).
• Multiple connection types: Local/USB thermal, Epson ePOS over the network, and raw ESC/POS over IP (port 9100).
• Multiple printers: Configure several printers per location (for example, counter and kitchen) with separate docket templates.
• Custom dockets: Markdown-based receipt layouts with variables, logo, barcode, and paper width options.
• Location-aware: Assign printers to locations and auto-print only for matching orders.
• Menu category filters: Limit auto-printing to orders that include items from selected categories.
• Print job history: Track queued, completed, and failed jobs from the admin panel.
