As a restaurant, there are days you might be unable to fulfil orders from some customers. While this might not be your fault in some cases, TastyIgniter allows you to cancel an order or orders with ease and also lets the customer know why without going back and forth on the phone for explanations.
To cancel an order, go to Restaurant > Sales > Status > select Cancel from the dropdown menu > ** Comment** (give a reason for the cancellation) > Notify Customer (set whether to send a status update email to the customer) > Save.
TastyIgniter updates all changes made to orders automatically as soon as you click on the Save button. To make it easier for you and your customers and eliminate any room for misunderstanding, you can add a comment explaining why the order was cancelled.
However, refunds of cancelled orders are not sent automatically. All refunds are made following our refund policy.
Note:
Ensure that your menu items are clear enough to avoid mistakes that will lead to order cancellations.
