Sometimes an order just can't be fulfilled. TastyIgniter makes it easy to cancel it — and let the customer know why — without a back-and-forth phone call.
- Click Orders in the sidebar.
- Click the ID or pencil icon of the order you need to cancel.
- Click on the current Status.
- Choose Cancelled from the Status dropdown.
- Add a Comment explaining why.
- Turn on Notify Customer if you'd like them to get an email update.
- Click Save.
The change takes effect immediately.
Note: Cancelling an order does not automatically issue a refund. Refunds must be processed separately, following your own refund policy.
Tip: Clear, accurate menu descriptions go a long way toward avoiding the kind of mix-ups that lead to cancellations in the first place.
