Minimum order value

Want to make sure orders are big enough to be worth delivering or preparing? Set a minimum cart total customers must reach before they can check out.

1. Click Manage in the sidebar.
2. Click Locations.
3. Click the pencil icon next to the location you want to update.
4. Click Settings — you'll land on the General tab.
5. Open Delivery settings or Pick-up settings, depending on which order type you want to limit.
6. Set Delivery Minimum Order Amount (or Pick-up Minimum Order Amount).
7. Click Save.

Tip: Do some quick math before setting this — a minimum that's too high can turn customers away instead of increasing your average order size.

Note: This is different from the Minimum Quantity field on a menu item, which only limits how many of that dish a customer must order — not their whole cart.
