Keeping a close eye on stock helps you avoid selling dishes you've run out of, cut down on waste, and spot what's running low before it becomes a problem.
Turn on stock tracking for a menu item
- Click Restaurant > Menu Items.
- Click + New, or the pencil icon next to an existing item.
- Next to Stock Quantity, click the ••• menu and choose Manage Stock.
- Turn on Track Stock.
- Set your Stock Quantity, then click Save.
Once Track Stock is on, TastyIgniter automatically subtracts stock every time the item is ordered.

Options — like sizes or toppings — can be tracked the same way:
- Open a menu item and click the Options tab.
- Click the pencil icon on the option you want to track.
- Set a Stock Quantity for each option value.
- Click Save.
See all your stock in one place
- Click Restaurant > Inventory.
This gives you a live view of every menu item and option you're tracking, across all your locations — including a Low Stock Threshold, current Quantity, and Stock Status. When something runs out, use the Mark Out of Stock button right from this list.
