To operate a restaurant profitably, you must keep tight control over the available menu item and those sold. Inventory items are tracked from the time the quantity is entered and ordered.
TastyIgniter allows you to monitor and track menu item inventory in real-time to enable you to make more informed inventory decisions, minimize loss and waste, spot inefficiencies for improvement in your operations and, increase your profit in general.
You can manage your menu item inventory in two ways on TastyIgniter; from Menu Item and Menu Item Options.
From Menu Item
To manage your menu item inventory for a new menu item, go to Restaurant > Menu Items > New +> Menu >
Enter the minimum quantity customers can order on the Minimum Quantity section and enter the amount of stock available on the Stock Quantity section. You can enable or disable the Subtract Status for the ordered menu and options quantity to be subtracted from their original stock quantity > Save.
For an existing menu item, go to Restaurant > Menu Items > select the menu item > click on the Pen Icon > Menu. Make changes to the minimum quantity customers can order on the Minimum Quantity section and the amount of stock available on the Stock Quantity section. You can also enable or disable the Subtract Status for the ordered menu and options quantity to be subtracted from their original stock quantity > Save.
From Menu Item Option.
To manage your menu item inventory from menu option, go to Restaurant > Menu Items > Options > Menu Option > select an existing menu option > Blue + > Stock Quantity > Save.
Stock Quantity allows you to see the number of available Menu Item Option.
