Inventory management

Keeping a close eye on stock helps you avoid selling dishes you've run out of, cut down on waste, and spot what's running low before it becomes a problem.

  1. Click Restaurant > Menu Items.
  2. Click + New, or the pencil icon next to an existing item.
  3. Next to Stock Quantity, click the ••• menu and choose Manage Stock.
  4. Turn on Track Stock.
  5. Set your Stock Quantity, then click Save.

Once Track Stock is on, TastyIgniter automatically subtracts stock every time the item is ordered.

Options — like sizes or toppings — can be tracked the same way:

  1. Open a menu item and click the Options tab.
  2. Click the pencil icon on the option you want to track.
  3. Set a Stock Quantity for each option value.
  4. Click Save.
  1. Click Restaurant > Inventory.

This gives you a live view of every menu item and option you're tracking, across all your locations — including a Low Stock Threshold, current Quantity, and Stock Status. When something runs out, use the Mark Out of Stock button right from this list.
