Make items available at particular times of the day

• Create a mealtime
• Attach a mealtime to a menu item

Mealtimes let you restrict a dish to certain hours — so your breakfast menu quietly disappears once lunch service starts.

#Create a mealtime

1. Click Restaurant > Mealtimes.
2. Click + New.
3. Fill in the fields below.
4. Click Save.

Mealtime Name — What customers will see, e.g. "Breakfast" or "Lunch."
Location(s) — Which of your locations this mealtime applies to.
Validity — Choose Daily for the same hours every day, Period for a date range, or Recurring for specific days of the week.
Start Time / End Time — When this mealtime begins and ends.
Status — Turn this on to make the mealtime active on your website.

#Attach a mealtime to a menu item

1. Click Restaurant > Menu Items.
2. Click + New, or the pencil icon next to an existing item.
3. Click into the Mealtime field and select one or more mealtimes.
4. Click Save.

Once attached, that dish will only be available for order during the hours you've set.
