A great photo does more to sell a dish than any description — here's how to add one.
- Click Restaurant > Menu Items.
- Click + New for a new item, or the pencil icon to edit an existing one.
- Click the + under Image.
- Choose a photo from your computer or your Media Manager.
- Click Save.
Your photo goes live on your website the moment you save.
Tips for great menu photos
- Use high-resolution images — aim for at least 2,048 x 1,536.
- Make sure the shot is clear, crisp, and well-lit. If it's blurry or grainy, try again.
- Avoid heavy filters, watermarks, or text overlaid on the photo.
- Stick to one dish per photo — skip collages.
- Show the whole item, with a little breathing room around the edges for cropping.
- Leave out any third-party logos or packaging — use your own branding instead.
- Save as PNG or JPG.
Tip: You can manage every image you've uploaded — and set upload size limits — under Tools > Media Manager.
